Question TPS setting

I have a 1993 Ford Lightning and my old TPS went bad, when I bought my new one, the parts dealer said 0.92 volts is perfect, but I also saw in some magazines that 0.99 volts is desireable for best throttle response. Are any of these reccomendations correct and if not, what is correct?

The info I've seen says just under 1 volt.I usually don't check it but when I have checked them,I've always had .9something.
