With stock suspension and gearing, (im assuming 3.55's) Some 31" x 10.50" would be ideal, if you are currently running 235's that came stock on some Bronco's. If you are looking for a bit bigger, 32's would fit the bill without any trimming. If you want a set of 33" x 12.50's on 10 inch rims you can do it without rubbing or trimming with the proper amount of backspacing. You may want to consult the rim company for the correct one for your needs. Another option would be to purchase a set of 33" x 11.50" on a set of 8" rims. Again still, you could keep your stock 7.5" rims and stick with your metric tire sizes. 245's/255's etc.

You have lots of options.

get a tape measure and measure out from the center of the axle to the body parts multiply x 2...15=30s 16.5=33s...i think 33s would fit...lift it 3.5" and put on 35s

But he still need to have rims with the proper backspacing so he's not rubbing against his sway bar and radius arm> he can lift it to the sky but still rub.
