Questions about Eagle 178 Wheels

I have a few questions for anyone who has the Eagle 18' 178 wheels.

1) What are the specs of the 178 that are made to fit the F-150?(offset etc.)
2) I just purchaced the autospring 2 inch front lift (1.5 spacer). Will this lift in the front be enough (with no other mods) for the Eagle 178 wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler 325 60 18's? Will 325 65 18's rub?
3) How do you guys think they will look in Chrome on a silver 04 FX4 Crew with black accents? (brush guard, side tubular steps, etc.) They make them with a polished finish but I have heard that they are very hard to keep clean!
4) How do they hold up in the winter conditions of road salt and sand? Have you experenced any damage from winter driving?
5) How far will they stick out with the 325 60 18 tires?
6) How is your ride affected with this set up?

Thanks in advance for any answers or ideas!

1. There is only one size available in this wheel. 18x9. 5"BS. 6 on135mm. +2mm offset. You're only option is chrome or polished.
2. I have a Rancho 4" lift with Nitto TG 325/65 R18. And I had a very small amount of trimming to get the full clearance. I think some guys are getting the 65s under there but you're better off with the 60s. Search the forum. This has been discussed several times already.
3. Spend the extra few bucks and get the chrome.
4. No road salt and sand here in NM. I can't imagine that being a factor.
5. See my gallery for pics.
6. Ride has been great. A little stiffer with my suspension set-up. Lot's of guys love the Nittos. I am one of them.

Good luck. JP

JP, Thanks for the info/reply! Where did you buy yours, and for how much ?
Have you used yours off road, if so did sand or anything screw them up?
I was told that if Chrome wheels don't have a protective coating they will be scratched by sand and other things. I have chromes on my Stang Cobra, but I don't even drive that thing in the rain!

BTW- That is one sick A$$ truck!

98,
Got mine locally through a distributor. I think I paid about $625 for rims, caps, lugs and locks. I ended up getting the Nittos locally here too. $255 each. I've had some fun off road but haven't gone psycho (yet). LOL. I haven't heard about chrome getting scratched by sand but I guess it could happen with any surface. I haven't had any problems. Plus you can get the chrome pretty flashy with just a little elbow grease. I imagine the polished would go dull and require a lot more to the shine back. JP

JP is correct. I even have the Daystar 2.5 Leveling kit and a 3" Body Lift with the 65's and have a minor rub. Still love them though!
