What is a Nite?

I saw in my local Wheel Deals mag a F-150 Nite. What is it and what made it different from the regular trucks?

It's a special edition. Old (old) body style (pre-97). Sorry, that's all I know.

Totally blacked out, no chrome anywhere, special interior trim(black for the most part), special tape stripe, and Nite graphics, I think they were 91/92 only, I know they were offered in both the 87-91 and 92-96 body style.

It also came with larger than stock tires, skidplates, and gas shocks, which I guess back then was a big deal
