I've always liked the Nite edition Ford Trucks and Broncos. Recently a super rare (i've never seen one) '92 EXT. CAB F-150 5-spd showed up in my neck of the woods for sale. I stopped and looked at it one day just for the heck of it and I noticed it had different side stripes than I was used to seeing. There was just 2 very small stripes along the side on one long decal. Is this what they put one the '92's models? Does anyone have any production numbers on Nite editions? I wish I could buy it, but I already have 2 Ford trucks.
I own a 92 Nite Supercab, it will have special badging, like it will say Nite on the r/h side above the glove box on the trim. It may even have Nite floor mats. A give away is the skid plates, like under the xsfer. The '91 Nite was only offered on the F150 and in '92 the offered it on the Broncos as well. There are only two types of Nite stripes, about 2" blue or pink, I have found the blue striped came on gray interior, and pink stripe for scarlet interior. I took of my hot pink strip for obivious reasons, but left the Nite sticker on the rear 1/4 panel. Since they only came in black it will have the black matched grill and headlamp trim. I can't recall it having a special VIN code like the Lightning does. Anyways I hope this helps.
The mid-80s Bronco's with the blue interior had a similar blue pastel colored outside with a white middle section between the body ridge just off the window sill to the body ridge just off the lower section of the door.
