Post transmission crossmember question

i have a 89 ranger 2 wheel drive and vibrates from 20 to 65 mph but its on and off rapidly and every thing in the front end is tight,it kinda just vibrates the cab and not the steering and the manual shifter vibrates violently on and off like the rest, the crossmember rubber bushings look pretty shot,so my question is can a crossmember cause this much vibration threw the truck? thanks for all the help.

I had a nissan 200 sx that did the same thing. Thought it was the cross member mount, ordered a new one, guess what didn't fix it. Had to actually get under the car and have my daughter start and run. Found the front U joint was going and it was sliding off to one side. Until then couldn't figure out what was wrong. had to replace the shaft section as the ujoints were not replaceable and no more problem.
