Dually tire sizes? How wide!
Ok how wide of dually tire can i fit on my rims, just put in a 6" edge lift. I was gonna take off the dually stuff and run single wheels but it looks so muffin good with the duals on it! Think im gonna run duals now! So how wide can i fit on the rims, with or without the 2" spacers on the rear.

hehe. i was wondering the same thing a while back. i actually had my tire guy get some exact numbers to see what i could do. without installing spacers i could only go to a 245. i think i was looking at 285's with no lift and it would require a 2" (i think, but i am second guessing myself, i know it was right around there) spacer. i decided against it as i didn't want any tire outside of the wheel well. let us know what you end up doing and if you get any pics on here.

255/85-16's are about 33" tall and 10" wide. I don't know if they would fit without spacers, but maybe worth a try. The wheel width is what I would be looking at too. I put 265's on the front of my old dually and that's as wide a tire I would want to put on stock wheels. Does anyone make 8" or even 10" wide dually wheels?
I have also seen a truck running around town (actually the guy who owns it did my transmission a while back) with 315/75-16's on a 2000-ish F350 Dually 4x4. He said he had to put spacers between the rears. They looked like they were on aftermarket wheels, but I don't know the size. Whatever size they were, they were too skinny for the tires. The tires I think were BFG Mudders. Whatever they were, the truck looks mean as hell and has a mean sounding exhaust to go along with the look .
