1996 Ball Joints?

I have to be out of town for a few weeks and the ball joints have to be replaced on my Bronco. I have never done it before and might try it, but with work and Christmas coming up I might have someone do it.

Any ideas on how much I should have to pay for the upper and lower ball joints to be replaced?

They are pressed into the knuckles. Had mine done a couple years back and I got...well lets just say they didn't even buy me dinner first. The parts aren't really all the expensive as I recall. The Graveyard sells them for about $45 a pair. Might be able to find them cheaper locally. If you do it yourself invest in a ball joint separation and installation kit/tool. Although, the cost of the kit may exceed to total cost of the parts.

I got my MAC ball joint press off ebay for less than $100 shipped, but I got lucky. The labor is what kills you on this job. Expect to pay about $400 a side.
