Hey folks where is the best plce to get an over head console for the superduty. I have 1999 and ike the idea of the overhead console....also are all the SD'S prewired for the console??

This has been asked a bunch and I do not think I ever saw a good answer? Did you try a search?

 

You can find the OHC on ebay from time to time but as far as the prewired part goes not sure

 

Bass Pro or Cablas truck catalog or Stylinconcepts.com have them.

 

when i installed my digital temp/comp mirror i found NO wires up there...... you would have to buy the wire harness as well as the overhead..

Couldnt you find one from a Excursion? Or are you looking for a bigger one? I dont think that they are pre-wired.

 

I put in an overhead console in my 2002 SD F250. All the parts guys and salesmen swore it wouldn't work. I cut the hole with gritted teeth and found everything ready to accept it. I then fed the wire down the passenger side post next to the windshield down to a side panel next to the floor. I found a dummy plug in a receptical the same size as what I needed to plug into. To my joy it plugged in and worked. The only flaw I found was the miles to empty is half what it should be but it's a small nusance.

You'll have to include a wiring harness if you want to hook one up.

 

I have one for sale. Bought it on ebay and then repaired mine. I'll sell it for what i've got in it. It was removed from a '99 f250.

 

do you have pics of it and does it have the harness??
