P1000 won't clear Evap Monitor... help
2004 Lightning 5.4L SC.
Predator Pulley Tune.
4# lower pulley.
(Stuff that doesn't matter but I'll list it for full disclosure : K&N panel filter, FTVB)
Problem - I can't pass Tennessee emissions, I keep getting "Evap Test Incomplete".
I show P1000 code.
I try the test cycles available on this site and others, including the ten minutes of cruise at 45 to 65mph (people are flipping me the bird on the interstate) with 3/4 tank of gas and IAT between 40 and 100, engine temp 182.
I can't monitor EVAPDC with my Predator, or at least I don't think I can.
Instructions say TP MODE """SHOULD""" be PT to run Evap. Doesn't say it "MUST" be PT. However, my TP MODE is always either "?" (foot off throttle) or "WOT" (any pressure at all on throttle). This seems in conflict with the instructions, so I plugged into a friend's brand new '04 F150 Heritage and his also registers only "?" or "WOT"... never "PT".
Looking for info -
1. Can the Evap test run with the Pulley tune loaded?
2. Should I ever be able to see "PT" as a TP MODE?
3. Any other way to pass Evap Monitor?
4. Can the Predator display EVAPDC?
5. ANY IDEAS? I have only a few more weeks to pass the emmissions test.
THANKS

200 miles later, including two slavishly loyal Evap test drives... no progress.

The vehicle should be able to run through all its tests with the Predator installed. Are you resetting (reprogramming the computer or removing the battery) at anytime or are you just letting it be?
Are you staying off the accelerator the entire time? Rapid changes in speed and TPS voltage can cause some tests to get aborts and the computer will not complete its testing cycle.
Here is the best detailed description I've seen. If you follow it exactly it should complete the tests:

I've driven the mind-numbing route in the link many times now
I think it's in the TPS. I believe I should be able to observe a P/T in TP Mode, and I can't.
Tracking it there now...

FYI, it was the Pulley Tune. P1000 did not complete after over one THOUSAND miles of driving, including multiple passes through the OBDII test drive.
Reinstalled stock tune. Drove to work and back, 65 miles. P1000 gone.
The TP Mode displays incorrectly on the Predator, but that's not the problem.

I saw the same thing with the TP MODE in a U7146 Predator. I got a response from DiabloSport's Tech Support agreeing Part Throttle (P/T) and Wide Open Throttle (WOT) are reversed. They told me they'll see if they can fix that in the next release. In another email, they recommend restoring your factory tune a day or two before bringing your vehicle into Ford.

I also still having this problem, I've logged at least 5K mi and still no luck.
I'm also getting pretty poor mpg, like 11-12 mpg ( I used to get 18-20 with my delta chip), I thought that it was the temps, but now we are out of the freezer and I'm still getting 11-12 and still the same p1000 code at 50F.
I'm going to Radio shack to pick up the cables, as I see that there appears to be a new revision out.
