Want to go to a 4.2L from a 4.0L. Will the 4.2L fit without any mods

the 4.2 from the f150 family?
and what is the point of switching it? 4.0 seems pretty good
or if yours is F$$#ed up you could use an Exploder 4.0
or there has been tons of research done on 5.0 swaps
... I dont know that anyone has really had a reason to put a 4.2
in so I'm betting that it would have to be custom fab parts and custom install.
