Does anyone have their 04 supercrew pinstriped,I'm wondering how the stripes go by the front window where the door drops down.Any pictures?

 

I noticed pin striping on the '05's at my dealer. I don't know if it's a new option or it's something my dealer did. I can't remember how they went around the door.

 

My Dad always had dark blu cars (Buicks) with a silver pin stripe. He's gone now, and my truck is dark blue, so I did my own low-buck job and added a single thin silver tape stripe (the national auto parts store has them). on the sides. The stripe is 1" below the wndows, and yes, it follows the "drop" contour. Sorry, no pictues, but it looks pretty good. I'll probably leave it on awhile, then peel it away. Pinstripes are not really my thing (they look old-fashioned), but the truck is so tall, it seems to break up all that mass. Try it.

I lost my Dad 3 years ago (53 years old: heart attack). He loved black vehicles. His last F150 4X4 was a 1999 black supercab. I bought black '04 FX4 because of him. I understand exactly how you feel. Paying tribute to your father is a very personal thing.

 

I have a Silver SCAB FX4 with one black stripe down the side from the dealer, thinking about taking it off and putting a black and red stripe in the same place. Check my pic with the one stripe.
