hydro locked engine help

i have a 1983 lincoln town car with a 90,000 orignal mile 5.0 tbi engine.
the theromstat stuck and it overheated and poped the head gasket.
the block filled up with antifreeze. with the orignal owner not knowing the head gasket was bad and the engine was way over full (oil+antifreeze) he tried to start it to go to work. it cranked over but would not start. after he found out there was water in the oil he just gave up on it and i ended up with it free. if the engine hydro locked and bent the rods would it bend the rods enough to where i could just pull the heads off the engine while it was still in the car and visually be able to tell if they were bent? looking at say how far the piston came up from bdc to the cylinder ridge? i mean would it bend a rod like a 1/2 inch or just a few thousands of an inch what i`am trying to do is save my self all the needless work of pulling the engine out of the car just to pull the pan off and find all the rods bent. but if they are not i will totally clean out the block using solvent replace all gaskets, seals, timing chain, oil pump, screen, ect install e7te ford van heads and make the engine run again. i have never seen how much the rods bend after hydro lock. i`am not even sure if it did hydro lock but i have never seen a ford that hydro locked and dont want to do all this work for nothing thanks for your time

If there has been anti-freeze in the oil, you may have damage to the bearings, crank, and cam. You don't know for sure how long that the head gasket was leaking. It may have started out small and leaked coolant into the oil over a period of time.

I agree with Imadore on the other problems associated with antifreeze in the oil put in relationship to your question the starter will not produce enough torque to bend the rods even if it totally hydrolocked which it didn't if it was still turning over a locked engines stops.
