I guess it would depend on what I wanted to engine to produce - powe wise. I can't say I know a lot about diesel performance, but general engine management is the same regardless. Lets get a couple questions out - then we'll know which way to go...
- What type of performance/power do you want?
- How much $$$ are you looking to spend?
Those two questions lead to the answers....

the apeal lof the truck i have ironically is reliability, and flexibility with regard to pully things as i have a yard business on the side (i am a teacher). with that said, "teacher", you know where the money thing is going. i just want a normal running 7.3 like i had prior to my reliabilty issues with as little into it while still not giving up what is right.

I'm running behind - sorry.
I can understand the financial part. Since the diesel is strong in its own right - I would recommend putting a decent exhaust on it and either getting a chip or a Supertuner for it. For the money - you will get more out of those two things than anything really.
There are other companies that make good products - Banks for example - but there is also a good dollar sign that goes behind it also.
