Building shelves to maximize load space in a E-250 extended cargo van
Hello everyone,
I have a 98 E-250 extended cargo van and want to know if there is a good place to find ideas to maximize the space. I want to build shelves that allow me to have a second or third level depending on the product I am carrying. Anyone have any good ideas or places to find plans to make this easier? I appreciate your help! Thanks, Tim

Depends on what your cargo is. I'm a contractor and found it useful to build shelving that would hold all my cases. I also dedicated the driver side to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood and drywall. The passenger side was dedicated to hold all my cases, screws, bolts, nails etc. I built compartments to hold certain items.
I was able to keep the floor space empty, because everything was on shelves or the driver side lumber rack.
As for websites that may offer info, I know of none, but I never looked. When I was in the planning stages, I would peek into other contractors vans and trucks and see what they had come up with.
Good luck!
