Arrow Wife Swap TV Show ?

What is the point with that reality TV how?

I never have seen it, just watch the previews and think that it is pointless.

I think wife swapping is something that should remain behind closed doors & remain x-rated.

Haha, that show is pretty funny. I watched the one where the super clean obsessive compulsive wife with the day planned out to the minute swaps with the lazy one who's house is a pig-sty with about 30 pets in it.... It was actually pretty entertaining, and both families ended up much better off after what they'd learned from their experiences. The scheduled family was more relaxed, easy-going, open to having fun... and the slob house had the dad being more of a dad, and they were living a bit... cleaner.

I hate those reality shows. I never understood why somebody would want to watch the show. To each his own I guess.

Last night was the first time I had ever seen the show before. It was rather funny. I don't think it is a matter of people not liking the reality shows etc, but maybe to show those people what is missing in their household (like the woman that didn't spend enough time with her kids.) It may not be a show that tons of people will watch, but at least it gives us some enjoyment.

The point of reality shows is to prove that they can find enough dysfunctional folks and pay them enough, to make as big a fools……….. out of themselves, as believable .
And to copy the current rage… of the first reality show that made money..

I pride myself in my ability to resist the choas called reality tv. I am not interested in seeing such foolish behavior exhibited for all the world to see. Wife swap is not a situation I would ever find myself drawn to - It took long enough to get comfortable with my current arrangements, I surely do not want to go through that again, especially for a temporary circumstance.

They stole the idea for this one from Dave Chapelle.

He had a skit on his show called "Trading Spouses"

That was also the exact name the fox network used on their version over the summer.

Only reality shows I can stand to watch are the more game show oriented ones like Fear Factor and The Amazing Race.

I haven't seen this. I don't watch network TV much at all.

So, what can I trade her for?

The only TV I watch is the simpsons, and other fox tv shows like king of the hill, that 70s show, etc etc..stuff like that. But hte simpsons is the only show I will actually make an effort to watch (which even still isn't much). If I look at the clock and its about that simpson time (730 here) and I got nothin goin' on, I'll watch.

I also watch MTV but nothing in particular, it's usually just in the background as I am on FTE

My wife watches it and other "reality" shows like the The Bachelor and Bachelorette in retaliation for me watching Monster Garage, American Chopper, American Hot Rods etc...
It's a good thing there's cable TV in my workshop!
