Tire squeal when taking curves

Tire squeal when taking curves
I just got my F150 Styleside /w 5.4 last Thurs. The only anoying thing I've found is I get tire squeal when I turn sharply.
Is that normal for those tires?
There the Goodyears, I'm assuming stockers.
I've heard cheap replacement tires do that but not any name brand tires.
Just curious...

Check the air pressure in all tires. Also, brand new tires will have those molding nubs on the treads, which will slightly hinder traction until they're worn away. I would say give the tires about 1,000 miles of use and revisit the issue. I don't know if this is your first truck, but if it is, just realize that the front tires are managing a lot more weight than the front tires on most sedans. The harder they work, the more they'll complain.

If they are a Goodyear RTS, its a good chance they are the stockers.
Great highway tire, other wise they stink on any thing other than a dry highway.
How many miles are on your truck?
My rig used to have those Gy's and every corner, no matter what speed, they would squawk like I was peeling out.
Put on some BFG's and problem was solved.
It's been my experince that the older the RTS is, the more likely they are to squawk in the corners, most likely because the tire is drying out.

I would try to do a rotation and see if that helps out.

I have rotated my tires 4 times. The truck has 23K on it and the wrangler tire looks almost wore out. and they are noisy
I have never had any luck with wrangler.

Most of the Goodyear RTS's I've seen did not die until 40-50K mi.

Any good forum links/FAQ to tire comparison for my rig?
I was thinking M/T MTX for the Bronco.
When the Goodyears are done I'd like something aggressive looking like my M/T Baja Claw but I've since gotten tired of the howel and they suck in snow/ice but excellent mud tires.
Since I don't plan on muddin with this rig something aggressive looking made more for winter and much quiter that muddin tires.
