Snow Plow under-carriage Pictures and help please
I traded a guy for this Meyer undercarriage for my old Dodge one. He assured me that this came off of his 2002 Ford superduty. I have a new 2004 superduty and I am either not looking at this right or this is the wrong one.
Here is the pictures:

The bumper is hitting the top of the corner of the carriage. I don't see a way of mounting it inside the bumber. Does this look like the right one for my truck??
Or am I totally missing how to bolt this up? Did they make a frame change in 2 years?
Thanks in advanced guys....

the bottom part of the bumper comes off, 3 nuts on each side. the piece that comes off prevents cars from going under you if you rear end them. you must have that on, or the plow under carriage so you should save it.
to remove your bumper there is 2 bolts on the front on either side and then one inside each fener well. you can remove and install the bumper your self but it helps to have some help. good luck

I got it done!!!
OK I am finished with it and now ready to put the blade on (when the snow arrives) It took me 3 hours to get it all done. The entire bumper must be removed then there is a cross-member that also has to be removed. I just put new pictures up on my website for you to look at. I guess this would help anyone wanting to do the same thing.
Have fun guys and thanks to all who have helped me figure this out!!

All in all, I have to say that after doing this to 2 Dodge trucks, the Ford was easier. The Dodge was a 6 hour ordeal both times and nothing lined up right.
By the way, I used a "hole cutter" bit to do it and it took about 1 minute to drill each hole. The bumper surprised me on how light weight it was.

A few years ago a friend and I who had never even come close to a snow plow decided we could save the $3-500 installation charge and do it ourselves. I bought a two year old complete set up off a 99 F350 and had it on the 99 F250 in under 3 hours. Only a couple times we had to drill out a hole that was too small for the factory Western Pro Plow bolt. It takes no time to take off the bumper and the mount goes on pretty quick. It also helped having impact tools with two good socket sets.
