blown 5.4

hey guys, i recently picked up a new cobra 4.6 motor / box and the dealer offered a blower to suit, days latter when talking to him again on another matter he mentioned he had ten 5.4lt blown motors from lightnings low milleage warranty motors, how do these perform?, we don't get factory V8's with blowers, i have a few 40 through 60 f100's, so finding some were to fit it would be easy. any thoughts?

The newer (99 and up i believe) are pretty stout motors. You have more variety for perfomance parts for the 4.6 than the 5.4. If the price is right why not. There are a few 99 and up lightinings up here beating the snot out of about everything with a V8. (new corvettes and cobras) I personally don't own a lightning but I own a 99 F-150 and an EB Expedetion both the the 5.4 engines and I love em!

5.4

I've got a 5.4 three valve that would kick some butt in an older model f100. corvetts wouldn't know what hit them. its listed in the classifieds
