my new 390

Hey everyone, I had a 360...... now its a 390 at the machine shop. i bought the new crank and rods. I also bought some new headers and have dual exhaust. Its getting bored over 30 cuz of some scratches.
I have an edelbrock performer 4v and an old cast iron intake manifold. The guy at the machine shop said it was from a 65 352.. I had no idea where to look to see what it was. i have the ford part number book, very helpful, but wasnt in there. anyway my rebuild kit includes.

Fel Pro full gasket set - 1966-76
Speed Pro O.E. quality cast pistons std/30/40/60
Hastings cast rings std/30/40/60
Clevite 77 camshaft 484/510 lift, 270/280 adv. dur, 204/214dur. at .050", 112 lobe spread
Federal Mogul lifters
Clevite 77 rod bearings std/10/20/30
Clevite 77 main bearings std/10/20/30
Durabond cam bearings
Cloyes 3-piece timing set
Melling oil pump
Pioneer brass freeze plugs

My question was about how many horses will this produce? My truck has been sitting in my driveway for around 8 months, and the tranny slipped or wouldnt go in gear at first until revved very high, my nose of the truck was uphill. The tranny drove nice and fine.. Do you think was due to it being sat in a drive way up hill for more then half a year? Im very excited with my project, the crankshaft was supposed to arrive today but they sent it to nashville Tn instead of Oregon... i was dissapointed but they are overnighting it. my rebuild kit gets here fri, and the rods and headers do also. Im also getting my heads rebuilt and converting it to unleaded fuel. so if you guys can help me out it will be great(answering my ?'s and giving advise)
.. THANKS!!!

Joe

more parts

You still have time to dig into one of those parts catalogs you have laying around, and order an aluminum intake for that FE. You can thank me later.
