Arrow PreRunner Explorer

Hello, My buddy has a 97 explorer 2wd. He wants to make it into a prerunner . Has anyone done this before? What all is there into making something a prerunner? I know hell need the 2wd lift kit, a prerunner front bumper, off road shocks, and tires. Is there anything else to it? Also does anyone have any pics of a prerunner explorer, and or a suggestion for the lift and maybe prices?

Thanks

Try checking this out: http://www.4x4central.com/For your 4X2 prerunner, you've mentioned the lift etc.

Add skid plates, possibly an air locker as you will be relying on 2WD and you may need 2 WD, not 1 or 1 1/2 as with a limited slip with some miles on it.

Roll cage. Optional but is there someone in a helicopter going to follow you?

5 point belts. Why fool around with anything else?

Fire control, even if it's just extinguishers.

First Aid, tools, water, flares, heck I could go on all day.

Your needs may vary.

Oh yea, GPS
