460 internal-to-external balance conversion
I want to thank everyone who helped me understand that I replaced my EXTERNAL balanced 460 with an INTERNAL balanced rebuilt block. I now know that I must replace my existing flywheel, harmonic balancer, and crank spacer (without a counterweight) for the parts specified for an internal balanced engine.
Does anybody know the Ford part numbers for these parts? I would like to get the flywheel at a junk yard? What do I specify? Are all the flywheels for the internal balanced years (1973 - 1979) the same size and number of teeth? Are they the same for automatic and manual transmission? Is this a neutral weighted flywheel? If so, can I send it to a machine shop to be balanced?
So many questions...thank's again!

You can usually find this stuff for sale on www.ebaymotors.com.
Type in "460 Ford" in the search window.
Are you going to running a stick or an automatic trans.
And BTW, its 78 and back for the internal balance 460's.
