Does anyone know if the 04 F150 is OBD II compliant? I want to know if my tester will work on my 04.

According to the VECI lable (bottom of hood) it's OBD II compliant. What type of scanner do you have. Let me know if it works. I receive "LINK ERROR" when trying to connect my new OBD II code scanner (actron cp9135). It works perfectly on several other cars/trucks.

Anyone else run into this problem?

The 04 F150 uses a new way to talk to the computer. It is called canbuss. If your scanner is not canbuss ready it will not read. Link error is what you will get.Canbuss scanners are expensive. $300.00 to$400.00.
Hope this helps.

Thx for the info. Guess I have a worthless scanner except when helping my friends with their cars.

PHREEK, I have same problem. Mine works on wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee but not on my F150. Kinda sucks!
