Anyone willing to sell me a '54 VIN# plate???

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to sell me a '54 VIN# plate so I can apply for a lost title. I'm in the process of piecing together a F100 and I don't have any VIN#'s on the cab and my frame is from a panel truck.

I'm hoping that someone has a beyond repair parts truck that they can strip it from. I appreciate any help or suggestion you can offer.

i may be wrong but i dont think there is any difference in the vin # on the panel or the trucks. in other words i dont think the vin states that its a panel or a truck. have you found the vin # on the frame?

Hi caharleyman,
To be honest, I don't know if the state knows the difference between a panel and a pickup. The problem I had/have is that I bought the frame from someone that transplaned their panel body onto aftermarket frame, so they kept the vin number for their new truck. I wouldn't have been able to use the number on my frame because it would have already been in the system.

I was able to purchase a vin plate from someone who crushed a parts truck so there is no chance of a mix up.
