Removing brake booster from 1979
Greetings,
I just drove home my "new" 1979 Bronco on Monday. Now I have a whole stable of Ford trucks ('69 F100, '86 F350 and the Bronco)!
The Bronco has really bad brakes with a leaky master cylinder.
So I am changing both master cylinder and booster.
I've got the master cylinder off with no problems. But the nuts for the booster are pretty inaccessible.
What is the best way to remove the booster? Do I remove it from the bracket or should I remove the bracket AND booster from the firewall?
Thanks.
Ben
