Speedometer adjustment
I just put 33" tires on my '93, and I want to correct the speedo. Is it worth the $180 (4wheelparts.com) for a TruSpeed, or is there a more affordable alternative? Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks!
Josh
this site gives you the formula for the constant you will need to recalibrate your speedo. (constant is a number that represents the computer's calibration for a certain tire size.)

here is the article about resetting your speedo, its kind of hard to understand, so if you need further help, just ask me
. so, i guess i know that my math is right. As soon as I get home to my toolchest (for the wire and clip) I'll get this sucker reprogrammed. BTW, the tires look awesome. Especially since i was running non-agressive street radial 31.10.5 (on it when i bought it). Only problem is, i just spent $700 on tires, now i want to lift it!-Josh
