Tire question

OK, who has Pepboys Dakota RVT's, I'm thinking about swapping out my Kellys for these 31*11.5R15, I'm wondering how these are in the snow, the Kellys are not the best. Most of my driving in the Bronoco is in the fall/winter They look like the BFG's but @ 89.00 per tire, it hard not to just grab hem ..... HELP !!!

I cannot say what works well in the snow as my truck does not see it too often here in SO-CAL,but I have found usefull reviews on tires by those who drive with them at www.tirerack.com .Maybe you wont find the brand you are asking about, but might find something as good or better?

HA! Got fam in Fullerton!

anyways, you need to get down to the IV! There is some GREAT off roadin down there. I am always amazed at some of the trucks out there.

Let me know if you are needin work done. My friends in El Centro have their own Offroad business (just metal fab/building/installing no retail parts sales) and they are probably some of the best around the Valley.

You have fun down there in that gorgeous weather!

Check out Summit for Yokohama Geolandar A/T 32x11.50x15. The tires have pretty good traction and the price isn't so bad.

Hey, thats OK, I think I'm going to go with the BFG or Yokohama Geolandar, I saw a online review that wasn't so great. I'm not about to spend another $400.00 and find out I hate these tire.
btw
I was in Anaheim, a few years back and your right it is Dismaland, I did enjoy those funny looking Motels near the convention center

Try checking out the Kumho Venture MT.

They get RAVE reviews on Tirerack and they are VERY VERY reasonably priced... about $110 for 33x12.5x15s. That is pretty good in my book.

I, too, am sorry about that hijacking.

Later and happy hunting,

McNabb

thats one thing that stinks about buting tires, you cant try them out. i used to bfg's and didnt want to spend the 130.00 dollars they are around here so i went and bought capitol AT's for 85.00. i got lucky and i love the tires.
