We just received confirmation late this afternoon that the "hold" has been removed from this engine; the first truck that I ordered for a customer with this engine will be built the week of 12/16/02. The customer ordered it 09/30/02.

Our First 6.0 litre is expected at our dealership first week of December so I don't think there is any hold on them.

Just because the "hold" on the new 6.0L engine has been removed doesn't necessarily mean the the injector problem has been solved (maybe it has and maybe it hasn't). Navistar is under the gun to finally get off their collective asses and get some engines produced so that trucks can be built. I can't prove it but I am sure that we'd already have this problem solved if the morons who run this place hadn't been hammering the engineers to save a few pennies on each injector.
The good news is we have the best engineers that money can buy -- if they can't fix it, it ain't broke!! The problem WILL be solved (if it hasn't already been).

***Bump*** I had to do it. I am sorry everybody, seems to me that a lot of "old" posts are coming back up. I have a sick sense of humor.
