manual choke 4bbl carb

did these trucks ever come with a manual choke'd carb? either 2bbl or 4bbl?

i can get a Holley 4bbl w/manual choke cheap for my edel performer intake swap and wouldn't mind working with the manual choke if there's a pre-punched hole in the firewall I can run it through.

Yes, I know there are electric choke conversions available.

I have a manual choke on my '73. There are plenty of holes to run the cable.

I would bet that for that year there were none that came stock with a manual choke.

Save your money and buy an Edelbrock carb too. They have no gaskets below the bowl to leak. Also get one with an electric choke, its alot easier and less to mess with!!!!
