Door Glass Setting channel
#2
Have done it on my 65, not an authority, but went fairly easily. Need glass setting tape, if you have not already purchased. Auto Krafters advertise 73-79. Purchased mine thru Ford parts catalog advertised 48-79., and it came in 2 different thicknesses. Seems glass setting tape sould all be same. I did not use adhesive. Measured and used marking pen as guide. Placed tape in channel and set the glass, then on relatively soft surface placed the glass on edge then used rubber mallet then gradually working the glass into the channel until it is fully seated. Taking the glass out of the old channel was more of a problem.
Not sure if any of this has anything to do with your question, but kind of got carried away. Should have quit at 'yes'.
Hopefully, another member with more experience can provide additional info.
good luck,
dave
