port and polish heads, worth it?

ok, i've got an 02 5.4L and so far i've put 23,000 trouble free miles on it, i bought it used with 33,000 already, so i'm at 56,000 miles now, getting a Superchips max tuner soon. but i was thinking about getting a set of heads for it around 75,000 or 80,000 miles and having them ported and polished with a 3 angle valve job and hopefully i'll have the edlebrock ceramic headers by then also. but i was just going to see if you guys thought it'd be worth the hassel and money. oh by the way i put 500+ miles a week on my truck driving back and forth from school.

Well, if you are looking for higher rpm horsepower, then it wouldn't hurt to port them. It will probably kill some lower end torque though. Trucks really rely on torque so I probably wouldn't waste the money on it.
Get the chip and see how it does with the mods that you have already.
