Possibly. Keep in mind there's a carrier break at 3.93 in the Dana 44. Other than that, yes.

If you don't know what a carrier break is, say so.

When you swap gears in a dana 44, you'll need a new carrier if you cross the 3.93 barrier. For example, if you have a 3.54 ratio now, and want to swap to a 4.10 ratio, you will need a new carrier. So in that case, it's not a straight swap.

If you're going from 3.09 (or whatever it is) to 3.54, you don't need a new carrier. The swap will work fine.

randys ring and pinion www.ring-pinion.com offers a thick 4.10 gearset for the d44 that allows you to use the low ratio case so you could keep ther same carrier

Might be money ahead to buy new centersection from j-yard with swap. Already set up and you just have to bolt it in.

Your call.....
