ck eng light

my check eng light came on and i have checked everything. how do i turn this thing off

First and foremost, find out what code is causing the light to come on. You can take it to any shop, buy an OBD II scanner or go to Autozone for a free reading.

To turn your light off, disconnect the battery for ~15 minutes then reconnect. Assuming there is no problem the light won't come on again. However if there is really a prob, then the light will illuminate again.
