Need A Little Help - Close To Buying
First, this a great forum - just discovered it. I am getting ready to buy a new 2004 F150 FX4, but have a couple questions.
Should I wait until January and hope demand is down and there are more incentives? Are there any incentives/rebates right now? Secondly, I would like a black truck with the gray/silver two tone, but can not find a picture anywhere. Does anybody have one, or can anybody point me to one?
Thanks ahead of time for any help or comments you all may have!

I have the 04 Fx4 Black on Black......Press them into at least minimum the X-Plan I save about 6,000.00 off the sticker. Here's a PIC of mine. I just put new wheels/tires on last night.

ANY 1997 or newer Ford product (car, truck- really doesn't matter)
ANY 1997 or newer Silverado, Dodge Ram or Dakota, Toyota Tundra or Nissan Frontier
You don't have to trade it in, just show proof of ownership. "Household" means anyone living at your address. Your son has a Friontier and lives at home, you get $1,000.

According to where you are located.I went to at least 10 dealerships before I bought mine. Most around my area, small dealerships would offer me about 1000 to 2000 off sticker. I had to drive 135 miles but I got mine at invoice.https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...?&albumid=6613

Check to see if the place you work at offers the X-Plan. The company I work for did and I saved a little over $6,000 off the sticker price. With the X-plan you pay 4% over what the dealer payed for the vech not over invoice i.e I paid $4.00 over invoice for my 04 FX4

$1,000 Rebate
Keep in mind that the $1,000 rebate for owning a 1997 or new F-150 or competitive model does not apply to SuperCrew models.
I wish it did as I could have used it. The only thing I qualified for was the $750 military rebate. But you know what...I would have bought the truck regardless of what rebates were out there.

I didn't realize that the $1,000 loyalty rebate didn't apply to the Supercrew.
On the truck I looked at on Friday, my X-plan price was $100 below invoice, so with the loyalty rebate the truck would be $1,100 below invoice price. Also, the loyalty rebate and x-plan can be combined with the special APR offer - so I can finance at the lower rates (0.9% for 36 months, 1.9% for 48 months, 2.9% for 60 months).
While I'd like to see more incentives, the $1,000 rebate combined with the special APR really isn't that bad - while the rebates will probably get larger in the next month or two, usually you can't combine the rebates with the special financing offers. Depending on how much you finance, the special APR probably saves another $500-$1,000 over the life of the loan.
