Anti-rattle clip on front brakes. 1990 F150...
Hey folks, I just replaced the brake pads on the front of my 1990 F150 4wd, and I bought two new sets of the pins that the caliper slides on, and a set of anti-rattle clips. When I removed the old pads, there were no clips.
So, now I have no idea where they go. Can someone tell me? The brakes are clunking a bit, and I'm sure that they should be on there, but I haven't the foggiest idea as to where they go.
Thanks!

On my '92 F150 the clips attach to the bottom of the pad. Install the clips so they will act as a spring of sorts on the bottom of the pad. After you install the clip insert the bottom of the pad into the caliper first, push down on the clip and slide the top of the pad into place. The clips will keep the pads firmly in the calipers.
I hope this will help. Good Luck.
