Hello,

I am looking for a replacement for the interior door pull handle for the front passenger side on my 93 Explorer XL (4DR, 4WD). This part as well as the entire door panel has been obsoleted by Ford. I see many after market pull handles for the 91-93 Explorers, but these appear to be for the XLT model, and not the XL, as they look quite different than what I am needing.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

IF you find one , I need one too I am looking for a rh front door, crystal blue but will take any color. 2 and 4 door is the same, but the XL is the only one that uses that long armrest all others use the short one with the door pull that breaks a lot.
Anybody have one? I have had a friend at a Ford dealer run the
part number but they are all gone .I DID get a LH door armrest back in December 02 from Ford.
Somebody help if you have a wrecked or otherwise not running XL91-94 with a good rh door panel armrest good . I will buy the whole rh door panel .

Check ebay. Do a search on 'explorer handle'. You may find what you need there.

 

Yo, I need one too, front left door....LOL They are impossible to find, at least used. I check eBay on a daily basis, and nada, they are all for the XLT. I found one once and lost the auction, it went for almost a $100!!!!!

mustang2win: Are you saying the 2 door and the 4 door door pull/armrest are the same part for the XL Explorers? If thats the case, I know where we can get them new!

Further thoughts and comments are appreciated, glad to see I am not alone here.

From what I have heard it has been descontinued form Ford.
I have a 94 4x4 XL and need them too.
I just email the people from this link to see the $$ for them....
