XM Radio stock stereo

Does anyone know if there are hookups for XM radion on the stock stereo system in the 04 F-150's. It'd be nice not to have to buy the FM modulator kit and run it directly through digital inputs. Hopefully Ford thought to do this on it's new stereos.

I don't know, I asked the same question. Stock radio has an aux input so it won't be too hard to hook up.

I put in a XM Roady until I can figure it out, only $120.00 for the whole system. I am waiting for either the Commander or a direct hook up for the Roady - both of which are to come out in the next few weeks.

What is the text option on the standard radio? Seems geared for XM?

You can go to the XM site, http://www.xmradio.com/get_xm/

There is details on thier full line - I got mine from Circuit City but Sears and Best Buy has them also.

OK, for anyone that wants to know here is the skinny on the XM radio in ford.

--Currently FORD doesn't have satelite ready stereos.
--FORD is partnered with Sirius not XM so in the future they will be Sirius ready not XM
--The FCC is now mandating that all receivers made by a certain date be both XM and Sirius compatible(not there yet but in a year maybe)
--If you want non FM Modulated satelite radio you need a new receiver.

sddriver - Supposedly Sirius but Ford has not taken up yet. The Roady is an add on that you can either use with the cassette adapter or with an FM Modulator - you don't need to have a new receiver it works through your exisiting radio.

Yeah I know you can use a modulator but didn't want to go that route seeing you lose sound quality

Then use the Commander - Actually the commander and roady hook up to the aux input but you need an adapter (at least for the roady, not sure about the commander).

Been following XM for some time so I'm fairly biased - once you have it you'll never listen to commercial radio again.

Do all the sound systems in the 04 F150s have an aux input? I have the Delphi XM radio in my current car and would love to hook it up to an aux input when I get a new truck. In the photos I've seen, I don't see anything that looks like an aux input. The Ford website and the F150 brocures are no help.
