For future reference... What cats do you run?
I personally run a tabby cat and then a siamese cat but that's just me!
Kidding! I want to go true duals on my truck AT SOME POINT and am having trouble picking which cat to go with... Are the flow master universal cats going to be high flow compared to stock on my 302?

Personally I see no reason to run duals, why pay for two of everything for zero benefit other than a lighter wallet and bragging rights.

Any aftermarket converter is high-flow compared to the factory converters. I used a Magnaflow 59929 on my old 1992 F350 w/5.8L engine.

Its because I'm young and dumb.

Doesn't take duals to hear a v8... I'm running long tubes into 2.5 tube, into a Y pipe with single 3" into the biggest flowmaster muffler i could find, turn down in front of rear axle. Quiet when cruising (you can talk or hear a radio) but it lights up under load. No cat for now, though I understand that's not the greatest thing for air quality.

Would I only need to buy one cat then?
