anyone know where i can order new manifolds that dont cost alot of cash ? or should i just hunt down a junk yard and look there til i find some that are not cracked like mine

 

You can get new headers for about $150, though in no way will they last as long as junkyard exhaust manifolds for $10 each. For a truck with a C-6 tranny with 248k, I would go junkyard exhaust manifolds. I bet if you placed a wanted ad here, you might even be able to get them for free plus S&H.

 

well that is a good idea, although my truck is high mileage, as soon as i finish the final sanding and primer it is going to look brand new again, and i just rebuilt the engine 2 years ago. I myself perfer headers, but being a camper special i am still looking for a resonable priced header for it.
