has anyone had any experiance towing a 5th wheel camper with the 5.5 foot box. WOuld an offset gooseneck adaptor give you enough room to tow it. camper is a 28' weighing about 9k. pickup is a 2013 f150 5.0 with 5.5 box
But you'll be at the point where you're truck is feeling very sluggish. You won't want to try and merge into thick traffic on the interstate, so leave yourself plenty of time to get where you're going.
I'm planning to tow a 5th wheel with a 5.5' box. Unless you have a newer trailer with cut off corners at the front you will need a slider hitch or a sidewinder adapter. If you don't have the heavy duty trailer tow package the pin weight will probably over load your rear axle.
