Anyone running 35's that don't rub?
Hey all! Anyone running a 15" wheel with a 35x12.50 tire on a 4x4 that doesnt rub the radius arms when you turn? if so what is your setup? Once you mount a wheel you own it! I want to avoid that! Thank you all!!!! Im sure someone has asked this question before but I didnt have any luck with the search tool. appreciate the help!

I'm sure you have to have a tall lift with high offset wheels... I know a guy that has 35s on his lifted 4wd. They rub bad, and his steering is very limited because of it. Takes 40 acres to turn that thing around. User 72lime on here.
hell my 31s rub the radius arms on my 2wd.... (apples to oranges, I know)

Got your PM... gotta clarify my figures stated above.
15x8 with 3.5 inches measuring from the face of the drum to the inside tire bead... 4 inches to the inboard edge (rim) of the wheel.
Tires are 35x12.5x15 Goodyear Wranglers... great trail tire.
All tires are not created equal - they measure differently between manufacturers due to square o rounded tread shoulders, knobby treads, etc.

awesome- thank you so much. Forgive my novice questions but one thing i can't understand is with a 2" lift or 4" lift don't the radius arms remain in the same position? so exaggerated if i lifted the truck and put monster tires like 37's or something ... I would have body/fender clearance but would need to change something to be able to steer?

Yes, the RAs stay in the same plane of travel.
