37.0x13.5x20 tire on a stock 20x8 ford rim

I was watching a video on you tube, of a 2013 F250 lariat (6.7 diesel) that
at the time was brand new and for sale at Herlong & North Augusta customs. (video is 3 years old now, but is still on you tube)

The truck had a pro-comp stage II 6" lift kit on it, and it had 37x13.5x20 O.C. Toyos on the stock 20x8 chrome lariat rims.

I love how that rig looks, and I would love to do those mods to Biggie. (Biggie is a 2011 XLT)

Has anybody else here put a 37" tire on the stock 2011 - 2016 20x8" ford wheels?

I like my rims and would love to keep them, use them and install that rubber on them, not to mention installing the lift kit.

thank you for your comments.

I'm running 37/13.50/18s on my 2014 F350 BUT they're on stock 2004 18" wheels. They stick out further than the current model factory wheels. The tires can be run on your stock wheels but they will rub the radius arms pretty bad. You'll need spacers or wheels with more offset. Folks feel free to flame me for saying you can run a 13.50 on an 8" wheel

I wont flame you, your Lordship! Instead, I will pat your back because I thought
I wanted something extreme. But you took the cake and ate it too!
your tires must look like 4 huge donuts!

I believe the salesman mentioned something like "no rubbing whatsoever" from the setup that was on the truck. but I don't know what to make of that. I'm hoping to go to a car show this coming summer and find a truck built like the one on the video, then draw my conclusions.
thanx for your 2 cents. hope to hear from more fte's

Here's some pics for reference. The tires almost look too small to me but they are 37s.

No I'm not running spacers. The wheels are off of a stock 04 King Ranch. The 04 models had more offset from the factory than my 14'. The tires are 37/13.50/18 Cooper STT Pros. The lift is a 6" Zone Off-road with new radius arms instead of drop brackets. The truck rides better than it did stock and I love it.

you are a lucky man. you look good and ride well, so it looks like everything worked out well for you.

I think I will stick with a 2.5" lift kit and 35"s. what it costs to do a set up for 37's is a little too much for me, not to mention the cost of the tires.
