I have a blue silicone tubing on my EGR coolant line after I did my delete. The problem that I am having is the outside of this tubing keeps failing on me due to the hose clamp cutting through the side of it.
I purchased the shielded clamps that prevent cutting into this soft rubber, but I continue to develop leaks on this hose.


is there any other hose that is a little more substantial that still holds up to the heat? I believe that I am using the 5/8 hose, it seems to go on tubing quite tight, but fits the port on top of oil cooler quite well.


any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pretty sure the OEM hose works great.

how tight are you making the clamps? I have that set up on mine and haven't have any issues
