'72 seat belt advice

I picked up a '72 F250 Custom 2 wheel drive 360 automatic a couple years ago for $325.00. (it was a farm truck and the farmer passed away. It sat under a tree for 12 years, they put a battery in it and cranked it 3 times and it started)

So, I have been slowly cleaning it up and fixing little things here and there. It's actually a very reliable truck considering how it was treated on the farm. I'm trying not to get too carried away and mainly just fixing/replacing things back to stock. (if it aint broke, don't fix it...)

So I am looking to put new seat belts in it. Mine are pretty rough and the chrome coating is peeling off the buckles (and cutting mine and other people's hands). It has just 2 point belts, and I am fine with that. I can't seem to find anything that is accurate. LMC sells belts that will work but the buckles are a smaller, later design. Also, the colors don't seem to match between the retractable outside ones and the center lap belts.

My truck has the Robbins seat belts, retractable male ends on the outside and a standard lap belt in the middle, with a round starburst push button release.

Truck was originally green but I re-painted it to "Ford wind blue" (Ford light blue) and want to put blue seat belts in it.

Does anyone sell oem style seat belts for a '72?

Will the Scott Drake belts for mustangs fit in my truck? If so, does Scott Drake sell retractable versions for the sides?

Any help would be appreciated.

Dennis Carpenter sells a set. NPD ( NATIONAL PARTS DEPOT ) has a selection as well.

NPD has a couple of lap belts that would work for the center belt, but they don't list anything under 1972 that has retractable ones for the two outer belts.

Dennis Carpenter does not list any seat belts for 1972, and only shows one listing for a generic seat belt set with no picture for "1967-1979 Ford Trucks".

DON'T re-install 2 point! Go to the safer 3 point universal ones.
When I was 16 I got in an accident with only a lap belt on. Hit in the front. My butt stayed put but my torso flew forward swinging my head down. Suffice it to say the steering wheel won and my teeth lost. The part of my skull where the roots for those teeth were was shattered in to a million pieces.

3 point belts

Juliano's sells universal kits and your truck should have the mounting hole for the upper anchor point, my 68 has them and is going to get a set by the time I get it running. I have them in my 67 XL.

Had to go 2ish years of braces all over again. I flat refuse to drive a vehicle with 2 point belts.

So I guess the answer to my question is "no"...

Not interested in universal seat belts.

Not interested in a 3 point.

Not interested in sending my seat belts off somewhere to get rebuilt / dyed a different color. (my truck is my daily driver, can't just take out the belts...)
