Added the Trailer Brake Controller. Wow is removing all those panels a pain in the ****, hopefully I won't have any unwanted rattles now. I'll know more about that in the morning.

Used Forscan to enable the module. Easy Peasy.

Here is the link to the spreadsheet with whats available. At the bottom are 3-4 letter acronyms for the modules that you can re-program.; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1479139836

Which OBD2 adapter did you use? I searched ELM327 and J2534. It looks like the prices ranged from $8.99 to $99.

Ford OEM Bed Cover.

I added the Ford roll up bed cover a couple weeks ago.

The cover seal up pretty good when closed. No water has leaked in yet.

When the cover is rolled up there is a cool Ford logo.

The OBDlink MX does everything you need. You can get it online for about $79. If you can live without MS CAN, the OBDlink LX is only about $49. Both of those products work without any hand waving.

The el cheapo ones for $10-$20 are a mixed bag. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Need the MX or a CAN switch to change as built modules in Forscan

I found 1 on eBay for $79 including shipping. I heard that some of the units didn't work as advertised. If I was spending $80 I wanted to get one that works. Thanks for the input!

I got the OBDlink MX, and it works as advertised. It also comes with an OBDlink app that runs on my Android phone. Kind of a "Torque" application Lite.

There is more information available than you can shake a stick at.
