Intake manifold installation ?

I am installing the intake manifolds. One cover has a vaccum hose connection. What side of the bank does it go on, and where does this vaccum hose go to??

That one goes on the passenger side with the nipple pointing towards the passenger fender. The hose for the map sensor on the firewall connects to the nipple.

I won't ask how you know. That says enough. Thank you for your wisdom.

You know what brand it is Mike? That would be a good alternative to the more expensive MC or IH stuff.

Also depending on your climate let it cure for at least 24hrs 48 hrs for a better result.

I would not trust anything other than the MC or IH for sealing the plenums with the amount of work it takes to get everything out cleaned up and then reinstalled. Not worth the $15 in savings in my opinion.

I used this from Amazon in the link below.

https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Ford-...licone+Sealant

Swamps also has it for $18
