I have been helping my brother work on a 04 expedition 5.4 3 valve. Our problem is that the drivers side cam timing is bouncing around, sometimes it has a code for running lean, misfire on front cylinder (drivers).
have changed timing set with phasers, oil pump, and solenoids for the phasers.
it is only drivers side so we moved cam sensor side to side no change
what do I do now???

 

One more thing to add. Drove the expedition over 1hr and the oil and antifreeze is not hot!!
what is going on??
