12.5" or 13.5" tires on 37", going from m/t to a toyo open country R/t
Hi All,
I love the Excursion is truly a do-everything vehicle so I thought I should try out a do everything tire.
Currently I run the military BFG's 37"s, they are on 16.5" rims, they are loud, heavy, obnoxious and have crazy aggressive tread.
I'm looking for something aggressive in the middle, with less road noise and better handling, but nothing smaller than 37's, so I'm pretty sold on these new toyo R/T (rough terrain), they seem like a nice hybrid, any Ex'ers out there running R/T's?
If so 12.5 or 13.5 width? I'm thinking I like the wide look and as long as there isn't rubbing I want to pull the trigger on it.
Is there anything I'm not accounting for? I'm like 75% city driving and towing, with the occasional 25% off road "Excursion"
Thanks in advance for your advice......
