16" Wheel & stick-on weights

I'm currently running 16" Ford steelies on my Excursion. I'm considering upgrading to a set of aftermarket aluminum, also 16". Any issues with stick on weights clearing the brake caliper with a 16" wheel? Clearance looks tight. I have the weights on the outside lip now but wouldn't want to do the same with a new set of wheels.

Whenever I've had the stick on weights used on my wheels they're applied to the inside of the rim not the lip

Yep. That's what I'm referring to. I have the hammer on clamp on the rim weights on the steel wheels. I will use stick on weights on the inside of the rim with the new wheels. I guess wheel offset should be considered too. Just wondering if anyone encountered the stick on weights rubbing the calipers with a 16" wheel.

They've put then on my stock rims before. Aftermarket clearance will probably depend on the rim.
