Looking for the Ford Parts discount Sponsor

Hello,

I know theres a Ford dealer on here that I believe is a sponsor people order parts and get a discount for being a member on FTE. I can't seem to find the dealer by searching.

If anyone on here knows of the dealer could you pass along the name. I need to a part for my truck.

Thanks!

Brice

I see a link at the top of this page for silverstatefordparts.com (Gaudin Ford - Las Vegas NV), but I don't see them listed any longer among the vendors in the marketplace.

horizonpartsguy.com (formerly partsguyed.com -- Horizon Ford Truck Center, Seattle WA) was a sponsor, but isn't anymore.

It seems to me that Lakeland Ford (FL) is a new FTE sponsor, but I don't see their link anywhere.

autonationfordwhitebearlake.com (formerly Tousley Ford) was an FTE sponsor, sold parts at dealer cost +10%. They're no longer a sponsor, but...

Number Dummy,

Thanks for the response.

The best I remember people referred to him as part guy Ed. I thought the dealer ship was out of Ohio or Wisconsin, but I certainly could be wrong. I new it wasn't Vegas.

My searching skills on the sight doesn't seem to produce much anymore.

Ed Olson (partsguyed.com aka FTEpartsguy.com,) was the parts manager of several WA Ford dealers. When Ed was at Horizon (see post 2), he had a stroke 1/2011, had to retire.

So with Ed gone, partsguyed became horizonpartsguy, but Horizon is no longer a sponsor.

Every so often when I need something, I go to my local dealer. They KNOW that I'm aware that parts are available online cheap, so they charge me dealer cost + 15%.

And they can't fool me, because I have access to FoMoCo's dealer website, so I can verify the parts prices.

Some dealers parts invoices show an MSRP, then a discount price (usually it's 10-15% off MSRP).

But more often then not, they've JACKED UP the MSRP, then discounted that price. So people aren't getting much...if any discount...at all!

Thanks again.

Sorry to here about Ed.

I tried my dealer earlier for a F350 rear spring block. They wanted $147.00 for just one block.

I tried another dealer who is about 20 minutes away. They say $118 for the same block.

Both are quoting per vin#.

Either way seems like a lot for a spring block.

I was just trying to get the cost down if possible.

Thanks!

If you had the part number, I could give you the actual MSRP and dealer cost.

I don't have a parts catalog for anything newer than 2001.

Ed was a great person to deal with. We still miss his assistance.

Autonation White Bear Lake is about the most reasonable priced on Ford parts.

Levittown Ford has some decent prices. Many on the F150 Forums use them.

Thanks a lot Mark.

Question, did you find the diagram/parts list on the White Bears website?

They have an EZ to use online parts catalog that also lists ALL the part numbers.

Shop By Vehicle - Search By Part Number - Search By VIN
